DeLaval is involved in a number of large farm projects for which our customers need to employ both farm managers and project managers.
The role of a project manager is to manage several farms during the construction and implementation period.
The role of a farm manager is to run one farm during the construction and implementation period and to share his/her modern knowhow about milk production with the local staff.
- three years or more of experience in large dairy herd as a manager
- academic back round is an advantage
- ability to establish procedures and goals for farms
- ability to keep financial and herd record to maximize farm profitability.
- experience from working with consultants.
- working with DeLaval equipment is an advantage.
- capable to manage a team, hire and supervise employees.
- language – good level of English, other languages is an advantage.
- flexibility – be prepared to live in a different country with different culture and mentality.
