The Sabot d`Or, the Golden Hoof, has been awarded to the DeLaval cell counter DCC at the Agribex exhibition in Belgium (9-15 February).
The DeLaval cell counter DCC was presented with one of only three Golden Hoofs awarded for 2004, from 32 solutions competing for the honour. The DCC measured up to the criteria for a new product in the animal welfare category exhibiting technical excellence, simplicity and value for money.
DeLaval is the only dairy industry company to receive this award in 2004.
In addition the DeLaval flow controlled cooling FCC for automatic milking received a nomination in the animal production sector.
The Brussels International Agricultural Fair with nearly 500 exhibitors, attracts more than 15,000 international visitors from more than 20 countries. |
