DeLaval works together with scientists, experts and farmers to create a better working environment for the farmer. We focus on really understanding farmers’ needs and problems related to dairy farming. By increasing our knowledge about work load related injuries, we are able to develop new products that solve or minimise these problems.
Examples of factors impacting on the working environment:
- Work postures
- Lighting
- Dangerous substances
- Work equipment
- Work load
- Working movements, noise, heat and cold
We know that if we can create good human welfare it is much easier to secure animal welfare and generate a profitable return from the production.
