DeLaval rubber coverage R12 and R17
With DeLaval rubber coverage, your cows walk confidently on soft, stable ground. Comfortable walking encourages a cow’s natural walking, resting, eating and drinking behaviour, and results in more movement. Increased movement improves heat detection and access to feed for a higher milk yield. Natural movement also enables natural hoof development for natural hoof health.
Designed to meet all cow needs in dairy flooring, DeLaval rubber coverage is suited to many different applications. It can be fitted to your existing, new, or soon-to-be renovated barn.
This 12 mm thick rubber coverage provides a stable surface so cows walk confidently and stand comfortably. Use it in alleys, milking parlours including rotaries, walkways, cubicles and waiting areas. With unique DeLaval triangle pattern on top, reinforced inlay for increased durability, and a ridged base to provide good drainage. It is available in customized sizes up to 2 metres wide as well as standard rolls.
Premium DeLaval rubber coverage R17 can be placed in alleys, milking parlours including rotaries, walkways, cubicles and waiting areas. Made from rubber with a reinforced inlay for increased durability, 17 mm high, it features the unique DeLaval triangle pattern on top with three-layer-studs on the base for efficient drainage and extra comfort. It is delivered in rolls or customized sizes, and is standard with DeLaval voluntary milking system VMS, for comfortable standing during milking.
Provides soft, stable, yet robust and resilient surface for cows to walk confidently and stand comfortably, encouraging natural behaviour.
Enables rough or slippery surfaces to be renovated quickly and economically.
Available in standard and customised sizes. It can be used with DeLaval manure scrapers, which can be adapted to clean well on rubber coverage.
