DeLaval parlour fan 142 is ceiling mounted to provide good air circulation with improved ventilation. It also creates a wind speed which flies dislike and will avoid.
The airflow travels from the fan blades almost directly to the floor, making a sharp turn just before reaching the floor and flowing over it in a thin layer. The velocity peaks near the floor and decreases from that point upwards, helping circulate the air while levelling out the building’s overall temperature. In the summer, ventilation is improved and a cooling effect is achieved. In the winter the thermal units from the building’s upper areas are recovered to help improve heat economy, dry litter and eliminate toxic gas accumulation. The warmer, drier air also prevents condensation forming on the building’s colder surfaces.

This fan can be used in manual mode or be upgraded to an automatic format. Automated speed control for DeLaval parlour fan PF142 is an additional option designed to regulate the speed of the DeLaval PF142 according to the room’s measured temperature, to avoid having a too cold or warm environment. It consists of a box and a temperature probe for full control of up to four fans simultaneously.
