DeLaval manure presses press the manure directly to the storage place. With DeLaval manure presses installed in the cross channel or at the gutter end - solid, semisolid and liquid manure can be moved out to storage without draughts or the risk of freezing. The system is hydraulically operated and works in sequence with the gutters to reduce cleaning time.

There are several solutions for transporting manure to main storage via a cross channel. In many cases it is an advantage to use the hydraulic system. You can use a scraper system that transports slurry to a pump pit - then pump the slurry to a main storage area. Or you can use a DeLaval manure press to press the slurry directly into the main store.
