DeLaval milking cluster MC50 handles the highest producing cows and is ideally suited to producers milking less than twelve hours a day. It combines stainless steel shells with a patented TF (Top-Flow) technology claw and is designed to reduce vacuum fluctuations at high milk flows.
A 360 ml (12 ounce) claw is used to cope with high milk flows up to 15 litres (34 lbs) per minute. The liners attach directly to the claw using nipple-less design so there is nothing to restrict milk flow.
Patented TF (Top-Flow) technology offers quick and gentle milk flow away from the claw. A specially designed centre pipe increases milk flow capacity.
The short milk tube exceeds NMC standards to further enhance milk flow and reduce the risk of cross-flows and milk plugs. This helps ensure good udder health and milk quality. The easy-to-use manual shut-off valve also acts automatically if the cluster is accidentally kicked-off.
This efficient cluster eliminates the risk of flooding during peak milk flow, providing stable vacuum throughout the milking.
The cluster minimizes stress on the milker’s body and the cow’s udder. It can be combined with different liners to provide maximum milking performance. MC50 liners simulate the natural suckling motion of a calf to encourage fast milk let-down for quicker milk-outs.
