DeLaval activity meter system consists of:
- Neck mounted activity tags which register the cows movement pattern and forward the information on a hourly basis.
- Antenna installation which receives the tags information for further processing.
- An ALPRO™ processor delivering breeding attentions lists for your convenience at any time of the day.
These long-life tags work on any type of farm and any breed of cow 24/7. The entire system will work on cows or heifers and you can receive data well before the cow passes the milking area. Our system focuses on precision for accurate decisions on insemination time. Placement around the neck results in best cow comfort compared to any tag placed around the cow’s leg.
