Framework for the EnDurance™ herringbone parlour is constructed of heavy square and rectangular hot-dipped, galvanized, carbon steel. A brisket rail with stall definition nodes and stainless steel rump rails provides excellent cow positioning. The EnCore™ butt pan with 15-degree rump rails is standard equipment and ready to integrate with your choice of DeLaval arm, chain detacher or ALPRO™ herd management system.

For large herd dairies

Built to withstand 24-hour, seven-days-a-week operation, EnDurance™ herringbone includes angled rump rail assemblies to enhance milking comfort for the operator and the cow. This assembly provides added clearance for cow’s hipbones when entering the parlour. It eliminates pressure on sensitive hip pins when cows are indexed against the butt pan too. The angled rump rail assembly also allows the cows to be positioned closer to the operator for easier udder access. Clearly defined stalls allow cows to enter with very little operator’ prompting. Once in the stall, two-directional indexing encourages each cow toward the curb and back against the butt-pan for optimum positioning, so operators work in a safe, ergonomic and efficient environment.

Smooth cow flow

Cows quickly and simply exit from the EnDurance™ herringbone parlour. The brisket rail pivots up and away from the cows, allowing the entire cow side to exit in a smooth efficient wave. This is largely due to a brisket rail driven by a five-inch duplex, air-powered cylinder. The brisket rail is available in four and five-cow sections.
