DeLaval Ltd has a rewarding and varied opportunity for a Customer Service Officer to join their friendly team based in Hamilton. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager , this role is full time for a 12 month Maternity leave contract.
Your main objective is to enhance the DeLaval brand and the Dealer / DeLaval relationship by providing exceptional customer service to external and internal customers. In addition, manage order processing activities and respond and investigate to all queries in a professional and responsible manner.
In this role, some of your day-to-day activities will include:
- Respond to all enquiries and orders received by all media means – including fax, mail, email and telephone
- Assist Dealers, Farmers and DeLaval staff with various queries in relation to sales and service activities
- Accurately enter all new orders received into the SAP system
- Timely, accurate processing while upholding corporate governance policies
- Credit return and warranty processing
- Integrity of databases and systems is maintained at all times
The successful candidate will have relevant experience in customer service processes and practices and sound knowledge of administration tasks. You will need to be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite and have a working knowledge with SAP.
In this role you'll be liaising with both internal and external clients, so excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills are vital. Excellent time management skills are also critical, and you'll require a great deal of accuracy and the ability to prioritise to complete your duties efficiently and meet deadlines. Importantly, you'll be a confident, independent worker capable of working efficiently without direct supervision.
