TPE tubing is lightweight and flexible. It makes light work of lifting milking units; helps reduce work-related injuries and improve cluster positioning. The weight of TPE tubing is 65 per cent less than regular tubing.
Cluster positioning is also improved. TPE tubing prevents the cluster from being subjected to uneven loading that can lead to udder discomfort, poor milk out, liner slip and increased strip yield. Studies have shown that TPE tubing reduces liner slip by up to 30 per cent.
TPE tubes are easy to clean and can be recycled locally after replacement. These milk tubes comply with food regulations, according to US and EU-regulations.
