Vacuum pump DVP340

Suitable for:

Whether you milk your cows with a DeLaval MidiLine ML1100 milking system, a pipeline or a bucket milking system, you need a reliable vacuum pump of the right capacity.  DeLaval vacuum pump DVP340 is cost-effective, robust and reliable.

Core benefits

  • Direct-drive vane vacuum pump
  • Cost-effective and efficient
  • Robust and reliable – no belt
  • Very low maintenance
  • Can pump up to 340 litres per minute
  • Uses less oil than belt-driven pumps

Pumps up to 340 litres per minute

The robust new DeLaval DVP340 can pump up to 340 litres of milk per minute when operating on 50Hz, or 410 litres per minute on 60 Hz.

It is the right size for 2 or 3 milking points in a MidiLine or pipeline system; or 4 or 5 buckets (at 50 Hz or 60 Hz respectively) in a bucket milking system operating at sea level – measured on ISO standards.

Double capacity

Adding another DeLaval DVP340 can more than double its capacity. Two DVP340 (on 60 Hz) can manage up to 10 milking points or 13 buckets. But the pumps have to work a lot harder as altitude increases, so at 2250 metres these two pumps will operate just 6 milking points, or 8 buckets.

Direct drive – no belts to replace

DeLaval DVP340 is a direct-drive vane vacuum pump, which means it does not have a belt.

It is reliable, efficient, safe – it has no exposed moving parts – and very low maintenance, with none of the worries of belt driven pumps.

This modern vacuum technology provides constant vacuum and smooth running which uses less oil than belt-driven pumps.
