Stockholm, Sweden (May 5th 2010). DeLaval announced today that it will be back at EuroTier this fall, the world’s largest trade show dedicated to agriculture. “We are delighted to showcase our latest technology that supports the needs of dairy farmers to increase their on-farm profitability,” said DeLaval Vice President Marketing and Communications Benoit Passard. According to Passard, EuroTier is an opportunity to confirm DeLaval’s growing influence in the areas of Smart Farming and Sustainable Dairy Farming. “This is an important event and a great forum to share our insights on how we are supporting farmers worldwide to increase the efficiency of their dairy operations. We want to show how
to enhance smart control over milk production to secure sustainability and farm profitability,” he said.
DeLaval will present its latest versions of Smart Farming technology. These embrace Smart Milking, Smart Feeding and Smart Barn Environment products and solutions such as the Herd Navigator pro active management system, the Optifeeding technology, the voluntary milking system VMS.
Smart Farming is an ongoing DeLaval initiative aimed at influencing and shaping the future of dairy farming today. Sustainable Dairy Farming (SDF) is another DeLaval initiative.
The company’s goal with SDF is to reduce the environmental footprint of farms while improving milk production, farm profitability and the well-being of the people and animals involved.
