Hamra boasts approximately 230 milk producing cows in three different barns and has been run as a commercial enterprise since 1901. It produces milk in both stanchion and loose-housing environments.
During 2011, an average of 11000 litres of milk per cow (35 litres per cow/day) was produced. In 2012 we are a bit above 12000 litres of milk per cow.
