What's it like to work at DeLaval?
Visits from students from German universities, the Young Farmers Party and a photo competition on Facebook are a few of the activities planned at the People Corner during EuroTier 2012.

Global HR Operations Manager
DeLaval HR staff will actively participate at this year’s EuroTier exhibition in Germany. Visits from students from German universities, the Young Farmers Party and a photo competition on Facebook are a few of the activities planned. We spoke to Mi Nyberg Johnsson on her expectations of the event.
Employer branding and recruitment of the right competencies will be on the agenda this year at EuroTier. Vacancies in Germany, Russia, China, Sweden and Poland will be topics of conversation at the “People Corner”. Here students, dealers and customers, young and old alike will be welcomed to discuss opportunities for employment or interest traineeship at DeLaval.
The trend towards larger farms with increased automation and computerization are having effect also on the skills and competencies we are looking for in our staff. Engineers are in high demand particularly in Europe. Qualified engineers with agricultural studies and a sales background are a desirable profile for working at DeLaval.
Of course it’s not only the degree that makes the difference. Like most jobs, passion and personality are always important. In our business, people, technology and animals meet and our employees are required to be competent, sociable and business-minded all at once. Growing up on a farm could be enough with the right attitude and personality!
During EuroTier visitors will get the chance to experience the best that DeLaval has to offer both on the product side as well as the knowledge side, with access and availability of experts and the newest developments in farming. If you’re there, take the chance to participate in our Facebook competition.
DeLaval will sponsor the Young Farmers Party and students from around Germany have been invited to visit too.
Come and join us and share in our ambitious goal of making sustainable food production possible.
