Service Engineer/Fitter - DeLaval dealer Alan Sexton Ltd, Co.Cork

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a recognised company within the agricultural sector situated in North Cork and covering the North Cork, Limerick and South Clare region. Alan Sexton Ltd. are a DeLaval agency supplying the Dairy Farming Industry with Milking Machines and ancillary consumables. In addition we provide a full aftersales service.

We are looking for a driven, energetic and knowledgeable Service Engineer/Fitter who can join our growing team and ensure that we optimise the Customer Service, Relationships and product offerings to the customers in our region. If you are someone who has a strong Fitting/Electrical background and interested in developing your career in this sector then read on.

Salary: DOE

Working days: Monday-Friday

Responsibilities: 

• Installation of Milking Machine systems at customer site.
• Carry out Services at customer site 
• Respond to breakdowns at customer sites to minimise down time for the customer
• Carry out all works to the highest quality standards
• Create customer invoice for works carried out in a timely and accurate manner
• Provide feedback to the customer as required
• Display a positive and flexible attitude 
• Attend any training, both external and “on the job” and take a proactive approach to learning the range of De Laval products
• Work as part of a team and contribute to the overall success of the company

Requirements: 

• Experience or a qualification in Fitting or Electrical would be desirable
• Background/ experience or interest in engineering, agriculture and/or in the dairy industry an advantage.
• Full clean driving license and ability to travel as required.
