Bergbigler Dairy - Bovadine Teat Dip

Leroy and Mary Bergbigler of Butler, Pennsylvania, have been dairying most of their lives. For the better part of 15-20 years, they’ve trusted Bovadine® teat dip to protect their herd and milk quality.

When the Bergbiglers first moved into their new milking parlor, they were trying out different teat dips. They settled into Bovadine teat dip and have been using it ever since.

“The teat health seems to be great, [Bovadine] does well for cleaning and disinfecting, and all of those things have helped to drive our cell counts down,” says owner, Leroy. “In our old barn, we always had issues with high cell counts, and when we moved up here and changed our milking procedures a little bit and implemented this post-dip and pre-dip, then our cell counts started to go down.”

Our counts have stayed low for quite a while now, and we attribute a lot of that to good teat dip (Bovadine), milking procedures, and quality equipment.

“Our counts have stayed low for quite a while now, and we attribute a lot of that to good teat dip (Bovadine), milking procedures, and quality equipment. We believe all of these things work together to make good teat health, cow comfort and a good milk product for everyone to enjoy,” Leroy concludes.
