Update on safety measures from DeLaval - May 27, 2020

The safety and health of our customers, employees and dealers is our primary concern at this time. Here’s what you need to know at this time.

Our sincere thanks to dairy producers for continuing with the important task of providing the world with a wholesome and nutritious product during these uncertain times. The designation for food production as an essential service goes all the way back to services needed to make sure milking equipment is running its best. DeLaval is with you, to supply the products and services you need in order to operate without interruption. 

Our factories are still providing solutions that are essential to milk production. While we have taken all of the necessary precautions to ensure a safe work environment for our valued employees, we recognize that these are trying times and appreciate the measures that have been taken to safely maintain production.


All local events and tours are currently on hold. Producers who are unsure of the status of an event should consult with their dealer or DeLaval contact.

Currently, we have been able to fulfill product demand with some expected delays in shipping time. Our dealers and service teams continue to deliver products and services and complete installs.

Tetra Laval, the parent company of DeLaval, announced its decision to donate € 10 million to support the global response to the COVID-19 crisis. The money will go to various voluntary organizations supporting the health care systems across the countries that we – and our sister companies, Tetra Pak and Sidel – operate in. Read more here.
