DeLaval Announces World Ag Expo Farm Tours

“We know a lot of our large-herd customers are looking towards rotaries, or even robots, as they face labor challenges and look to milk more cows, more quickly,” says Gavin Strang, DeLaval Market Development Manager. “Producers on our tour will be able to see how their peers are doing it as they consider what might work for them at home. Those interested in robots can stop by our booth at the show to see how our VMS preg-checks.”

Four J Farms and Jerseys, owned and operated by Ryan Junio, has been a familiar name to the Central Valley since the 1920’s. They installed their rotary parlor in November of 2014. Four J Farms relies heavily on genomics to continually grow and improve the herd, further maximizing productivity and efficiency.  

Vander Eyk Dairy in Pixley, CA is run by Robert Vander Eyk and his two sons. Established in 1982, they are currently milking in a herringbone parlor. The farm is adding a 72-stall parallel rotary to enhance efficiency and cow comfort.

The PR3100HD features high-capacity milking, high-quality and heavy-duty materials, and low operating costs. Rotary systems are some of the most efficient on the market today.
