Hills Supply, Inc. Celebrates 40 Years with DeLaval
Hills Supply, Inc. continues to puts the customer at the center of everything. They take pride in offering innovative and effective solutions designed to meet the unique needs and challenges of each farm.
The Hills Supply family experienced challenges of their own in 2016 when co-founder, Dolores Hill, passed away from leukemia, days after being diagnosed. Weeks after her death, Dolores’ son, David, and his wife, Shin, suddenly passed away from carbon monoxide poisoning. In the midst of the unforeseen deaths, Hills Supply employee, Mick Heiby, and long-time customer, Frank Burkett, emerged as the dealership’s new co-owners, ready to lead Hills Supply, Inc. in a new chapter of its storied history.

Heiby believes the relationships David built through the years are why customers stayed with Hills Supply. “Dave was a relationship guy,” Heiby said. “He was personable.” With such strong customer ties, an open house seemed the perfect way to celebrate 40 years with their customers.
“Through it all, we appreciate their dedication to providing farmers with the latest dairy solutions. We’re proud to have Hills Supply as a DeLaval dealer,” Jason Huffman, DeLaval District Manager, Midwest region, said. “With the knowledge and expertise that resides at Hills Supply, dairy producers will be in good hands for years to come.”
