DeLaval, a worldwide leader in milking equipment and solutions for dairy farmers, is participating in the World Dairy Expo taking place in Madison, Wisconsin, Sept. 29 - Oct. 2, 2026. DeLaval will showcase its innovative dairy farming technologies and sustainable practices during educational sessions and farm tours.

Wednesday, September 30, 3:30 p.m. – Maximize Your Farm’s Milk Value
In today’s competitive dairy industry, maximizing milk value goes beyond production volume, it requires a deeper understanding of milk quality, components, and the data behind them. This panel discussion brings together DeLaval experts across multiple disciplines to explore how new integrated technologies and actionable insights can help dairy producers optimize milk value on their farms.
Friday, October 2, 2026 - 9:30 a.m. – Rancho Pepper Dairy – Dublin, Texas
2,000 cow organic grazing dairy milked with the DeLaval VMS Batch Milking system
Established in 1988, Rancho Pepper Dairy originally housed a double-27 parallel milking parlor and freestall barns situated on 2,000 acres. The farm transitioned to organic production in 2006 and has since expanded to 4,400 acres dedicated entirely to pasture. In 2022, the operation advanced further by installing North America’s first DeLaval VMS batch-milking facility, which utilizes 22 VMS V300 units in a double-11 parallel parlor configuration. This automated system allows the herd to graze from March until October while receiving twice-daily milking with minimal labor requirements. This virtual farm tour will feature interviews from Dr. Juan Velez, Chief Agricultural Officer, Craig Edwards, Vice President of Farm Services and Nelson Rodriguez, General Manager of Rancho Pepper Dairy.
