Milking system: 14 DeLaval VMS™ V300s

In August 2024, Havredalsgård transitioned to batch milking with 14 VMS units, with capacity for 16 units.

Previously, they operated a herringbone parlour, which required replacement. After comparing batch milking with a parallel parlour, they determined that batch milking would be more profitable and labour-saving.

They are currently milking around 650 cows, with plans to increase the herd to approximately 800 cows. They anticipate a future reduction in the need for employees
