Parlours

Achieve fast throughput by ensuring cow traffic runs smoothly

Milking parlours tailored to your dairy farm's needs

DeLaval offers a range of milking parlours that are adapted to the needs of you and your farm. Every parlour is designed so you and your animals are comfortable and safe at all times. Our extensive research and development ensures a fast, efficient and thorough milking process from the moment your cows enter the milking parlour until the moment they leave.

Parallel Parlours

In parallel parlours all cows stand in parallel to each other and milking only begins when each cow is in its stall. Milking at most takes a few minutes and the cows are released from parallel parlours at once.

DeLaval Parlour milking system P100

With the DeLaval P100 we’ve created a parlour that is not only easy to operate, but easy to plan and install, easy to maintain, and importantly – easy on the pocket. If you’re looking for flexibility, as well as the latest in milking technology, we’re sure there’s a P100 to suit your plans.

Herringbone Parlours

In a herringbone parlour, the milking machines are positioned in the middle - the 'spine' of the fish - between two aisles with room for the cows. The cows coming into into the herringbone parlour line up between each 'fish bone', creating two rows of cows.

DeLaval herringbone parlour HB30

Improves productivity by prioritizing milker comfort and good cow positioning. With the angled staggered rump-rail, the cow stands comfortably close to the pit with no pressure on her sensitive pin and tail areas. And because the rump-rail is suspended, it is easy for the operator to access the udder from the side.
